Description
These journals have 80 lined pages, are pocket 3″x5″ sized with an elastic closure and black ribbon bookmark. The cover is hand typed poetry through a vintage typewriter on real mahogany wood (sourced from Wisconsin).
Flexible semi-hard-cover notebook, with a good texture. Featuring real mahogany wood that has been ran through a typewriter (not laser cut). These notebooks are available to be customized, either with custom made stamps for images, or poetry / quotes provided by you. (just ask for a custom message on check out!) A variety of dyed wood colors are available. Please specify Red, Brown, or Gray.
If want to showcase the look of the wood the Red wood is gorgeous, very rich and saturated, and is a very good choice. If you want your message to stand out more, please consider either brown or grey wood, as the red is too dark to show a good contrast on the typewriter ink.
This Notebook features the following poetry by Hunter S. Thompson.
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!”
Since each is made by hand and 1 at a time, please allow slight variation on the wood grain and the exact placement of the typewritten text. The edges of the wood are also hand-bordered with black ink for a classy appearance. Feel free to send me a message with any questions, or customization requests.
